OnePlus is expected to launch a new smartphone by the end of this year. The smartphone could feature the SM8550 SoC which is said to be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

As spotted on Weibo, OnePlus is expected to launch this smartphone by the end of 2022. The rumoured smartphone is said to be the OnePlus 11 Pro. The company did not launch the vanilla OnePlus 10 this year.

However, the company is yet to reveal the name of the device, key specifications and launch details of the handset.

OnePlus 10 Pro: Features and specifications

OnePlus 10 Pro features a 6.7-inch QHD+ AMOLED display and offers an adaptive refresh rate that varies between 1Hz and 120Hz. The touchscreen comes protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass Victus.

The smartphone comes in two variants- 8GB RAM+128 GB storage and 12GB RAM+256GB storage.

The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset coupled with 12GB of LPDDR5RAM and offers upto 256GB of inbuilt storage.

OnePlus 10 Pro sports a triple rear camera setup that features a 48MP primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide sensor and an 8MP telephoto lens. The front is a home to a 32MP shooter.

The phone is backed by a 5000mAh battery capacity with 80W SuperVOOC fast charging support.

The device runs on OxygenOS 12 based on Android 12.
