Souped-up OnePlus 10T spotted on Geekbench
The OnePlus 10T went for a quick visit to Geekbench, confirming a few specs. Unsurprisingly, the OnePlus 10T uses a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset but what's more interesting is the 16GB that are paired to the chip.
This must be the rumored Moonstone Black model with 16GB of RAM that will be an India and China exclusive. The rest of the world will have a pick of either 8GB or 12GB.
The Geekbench listing also points to Android 12, likely with the latest OxygenOS 12.1.
The OnePlus 10T is expected to become official on August 3 alongside a special Indian launch. We expect a starting price of INR 49,999, a 6.7-inch FHD+ 120Hz display, and a different design. For one, there will be no mute switch on the side.
Other rumored changes include faster 150W charging (up from 80W) and a less capable camera (50MP with OIS main, 16MP ultrawide, no telephoto). And, of course, the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will replace the original chip. It should offer better power efficiency (which will be offset by a smaller battery, 4,800mAh vs. 5,000mAh).
