Realme sells 2 million GT Master edition smartphones
Realme introduced the GT Master and GT Explorer Master smartphones 12 months ago. The devices had a distinctive suitcase design, developed by Naoto Fukusawa and inspired by people's desire to travel in pandemic times.
The smartphone duo was quite popular since its launch, and today Sky Li, Realme CEO, revealed that 2 million units were sold worldwide even if the availability of the Explorer was rather limited.
The Realme GT Explorer Master is a device made to appeal to a wide audience of users - it has a great camera, big and bright display, excellent battery life and a high-performing chipset. Combined with the eye-catching looks, it sure was a steal for Euro500 last July. The GT Master is a tad smaller with a less powerful chipset but still had a lot to offer for its price tag of Euro350.
Realme is already working on a successor, and the company confirmed the GT2 Explorer Master will be powered by a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset - a true upgrade in the performance department. We know it is incoming this month with a 5,000 mAh battery and we expect more spicy details in the following weeks.
