instagram: How to add a GIF to your Instagram Story
The Facebook-owned platform offers an option that allows you to share a GIF as your Instagram Story.
1.
Open Instagram app on your iOS and Android smartphone.

Tap on the '+' icon at the top of the screen.
3.
From the menu, tap on Story.
4.
Tap on the Create option from the menu at the left side.
5.
From the options available at the bottom bar, tap the option that reads 'GIF'.
6.
Use the search box to find the GIF that you wish to share to your story.
7.
Select the GIF that you want to share at tap on Next.
8.
Tap on 'Your Story' option to share your Instagram Story.
Earlier this year, Instagram also introduced a new feature that allows users to interact with Stories. With the feature, users can now send private likes to Stories, when someone uploads an image or a video. Earlier, a user could only respond to a story with emojis or send a direct message. In both cases, the reply would end up in the personal message section of the user. This, in turn, would clutter the inbox of a user.
