The company has already launched the smartphone in the Nigerian market priced at USD289 (Rs 22,000). The smartphone maker is expected to launch the same variant in India. The smartphone is confirmed to come in Aether Black colour option by the end of this month.
Tecno Pova 5G: Specifications
Tecno Pova 5G is equipped with a 6.59-inch IPS LCD screen. The phone's display features a FHD+ resolution of 1080x2460 pixels and offers a refresh rate of 120Hz.
The smartphone is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 900 octa-core processor paired with LPDDR5 RAM. The handset comes integrated with Mali G68 GPU and has 128GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone comes with virtual RAM feature and it is expandable up to 3GB.
Tecno Pova 5G runs on Android 11 operating system with the company's proprietary HiOS on top. The device houses a 6000mAh battery and comes with 18watt fast-charging support.
On the camera front, Tecno's first 5G phone is equipped with a 12MP selfie camera with dual flash. There is a dual camera setup at the back consisting of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP camera and an AI lens.
