Hide like count from existing Instagram post:
Open the Instagram app on your smartphone.
Go to your profile by tapping the icon at the bottom right corner.
Tap on the post of which you want to hide the like count.
Tap on the three-dot icon above your post.
From the menu, tap on Hide like count.
If you wish to unhide the like count from your post, you can find an option to do so in the menu you see after tapping in the three-dot icon.

Select an image or video to share on Instagram through the app.
On the page where you get the option to write the caption, tap on the Advanced settings option at the bottom.
Toggle on the 'Hide like and view counts on this post' button.

Open the Instagram app on your smartphone.
Go to your profile by tapping the icon at the bottom right corner.
Tap on the three-lines icon and tap on Settings.
Tap on Privacy.
