OnePlus has launched its much-awaited OnePlus 9RT smartphone in India, almost three months after its China launch. OnePlus 9RT is an updated version of the OnePlus 9R smartphone launched in April last year, and it certainly offers significant improvements over the phone. In fact, priced at Rs 42,999, OnePlus 9RT is the cheapest smartphone to run on Qualcomm?s Snapdragon 888 processor.
Incidentally. OnePlus has said that it will not stop selling OnePlus 9R and that the phone will be available till the stocks last. For starters, the OnePlus 9RT gets an updated chipset, improved rear camera setup and slightly bigger display and it still runs OxygenOS based on Android 11 operating system. The company is also claiming new extensive and highly advanced heat dissipation mechanisms. There are also some enhancements on display front like it is said to emit 15% less blue light and consume 15% less power.
OnePlus 9RT 5G also features a better sensor, which is Sony IMX766 Image Sensor, said to be the flagship camera sensor the year.However, it also shares a few specifications and features with the OnePlus 9R as well. For instance, the smartphone comes with the same 4500mAh battery and 65W fast charging support.
It will run on Android 11 OS, same as OnePlus 9R. OnePlus has launched the smartphone at a starting price of Rs 42,999, which is Rs 3,000 more than that of OnePlus 9R?s launch price of Rs 39,999.
