EPFO is ready to settle non-cow claims quickly. Earlier, the EPFO ​​had given a special opportunity to withdraw money in connection with covid. Money could be easily withdrawn through this system.

 However, the EPFO ​​is preparing to process all types of applications in this manner expeditiously.

As part of this, the automatic settlement will be extended to all types of claims. Accordingly, claims will be settled expeditiously in accordance with the applicant's KYAC EPFO ​​database. 

EPFO officials say the process, which takes about a month, can be completed within hours if the system is used.

The EPFO ​​had introduced a special scheme to withdraw money during the covid crisis. Employees can withdraw up to 75% of the EPFO ​​fund or three months' basic salary. Money can be withdrawn in one go. It does not have to be repaid later
