Twitter's mobile app is getting a makeover, with a new 'Spaces'.

Twitter is apparently putting out a separate tab for Spaces feature on its mobile app for select users, according to recent reports. According to TechCrunch, the Twitter Spaces option will be located between the 'Search' and 'Notifications' symbols in the main navigation bar. As a result, the navigation bar will now have five tabs instead of four.

This Twitter Spaces upgrade is currently only available for iOS users. In addition, just 500 users from the Spaces beta test will be the first to notice the new dedicated Spaces tab. Twitter Spaces, for the uninitiated, is a new way for Twitter users to have live audio chats. Because the spaces are open to the public, anyone can join as a Listener, even if they don't follow each other.

Across other Twitter news, the social media network has begun rolling out Twitter Blue, its premium membership service, in Australia and Canada. For a nominal cost, Twitter Blue is a new monthly membership service that will provide consumers exclusive access to premium features and app customizations.
