In 2022, Apple may release updated AirPods Pro with health-tracking capabilities.

The third generation AirPods are scheduled to be released this year, however the second generation AirPods Pro will not be released until 2022. According to sources, the forthcoming AirPods Pro will almost certainly include health-tracking capabilities. The AirPods Pro will have a redesigned design and improved motion sensors to help with health tracking. Apple's plans to introduce the Ai have yet to be made public.

Apple has not made the AirPods Pro's launch plans public; they are still being kept under wraps. According to a Bloomberg storey, Apple may ditch the stem entirely in favour of a design akin to the Galaxy Buds.However, some reports say that the stem will be retained in the next AirPods Pro, but it would be shorter than the previous design. Nothing has been formalized as of now as per the Bloomberg report and the final output can be very different from what leaks suggest.

Apple AirPods sales are anticipated to decline by about 25% this year, according to analyst Ming Chi Kuo. He attributed the decline in revenue to greater competition and a loss of market share.

To make their TWS earbuds stand out from the crowd, Kuo advised in his note to investors that Apple integrate some health tracking functions.
